- ASHOK THAPA   Background The U.S. Embassy Kathmandu has been organizing the Road Show Program since last four years. This year it has scheduled at Dhankuta, Udaypur and Janakpur districts from 31 January to February 10, 2014. It aims to disseminate The U.S. Embassy Kathmandu related information to general people of Nepal. Specially, it focused on different components such as Book Exhibition, Education in U.S., Talk with diplomat, English language, Science presentation, Trivia, Documentary show and climate change or disaster management. The targeted group of this program was school, college, Public libraries and civil society. 'Changing World' was main theme of this program. धेरै यात्रा गर्ने व्यक्तिको कित्तामा पर्दिन म।यात्रासँग आर्थिक पक्ष र व्यक्तिको एटिच्युड दुवै मिसिएको छ जस्तो लाग्छ मलाई।तर २०७० साल यात्रका लागि सफल वर्ष भएर आयो मेरा लागि।२०७० लाग्ना साथ चितवनको साह्रै रमाइलो यात्रा गर्ने अवसर जुटेको थियो।सौराहा घुम्दाको रौनक अझै ताजा छ मेरो मनमा त्यस दिन नेपाल पुस्तकलाय संघको अध्यक्ष जस्तो गहन जिम्मेवारी पनि मेरो काधमा आएको थियो।त्यसपछि निकै सालपछि कुल देवताको पूजा गर्ने वहानामा पनि डाँडाकाँडा घुम्ने अवसर मिल्यो।त्यति बेला मेरो पाखुराबाट घामले डडेर रगत चुहिएको थियो।त्यसको लगत्तै म भारत भ्रमणमा निस्केँ, झण्डै १५ दिन लामो भारत भ्रमणपछि पुन: नेपाल फर्केँ त्यसबेला सम्म नेपालमा पुस्तकालय दिवस आइसकेको थियो, त्यस वखत मरिन कोरेन नेपाल भ्रमणमा आइन्।उनलाई घुमाउने बहानामा म काठमाडौँका विश्‍वसम्पदा सूची र बुद्ध एयरबाट पोखरा भ्रमणमा निस्केँ, त्यसपछि रोडसो प्रोग्राम आयो। झन्डै १६ दिनसम्म नेपालको पूर्वी पहाड, उदयपुर र जनकपुरको यात्रा गर्ने सुनौलो अवसर मिल्यो त्यसको लगतै विदेश भ्रमण गर्ने मौका आयो जुन देश थियो इन्डोनेसिय। यो अवसर पाइन्छ पाइँदैन भन्ने दो
